July 8 @ 9:00 AM - 1:00 PMFree
Our in-person babysitter classes give you access to best-in-class instructors who will share the latest information on child care, offer tips, and can answer all of your questions so that you’re ready to start your own babysitting business.
With lecture and class activities, these courses are engaging, informative and fun.
Utilizing the AHA Family & Friends CPR Course teaches the lifesaving skills of adult Hands-Only CPR, adult CPR with breaths, child CPR with breaths, adult and child AED use, infant CPR, and mild and severe airway block for adults, children, and infants. Skills are taught in a dynamic group environment using the practice-while-watching technique, so that students can get the most hands-on CPR practice time possible.
Students will also receive a basic lesson in First Aid.
This Course is geared towards individuals who are age 11-19 that have an interest in babysitting throughout the summer. Parents are more likely to hire babysitters that have been trained in CPR and first aid.
The cost of the course is $30/person and the course will be held at the Tri-Hospital EMS Education Center in Fort Gratiot.
